We know not everyone can afford to buy products or donate but sharing our info is just as helpful.

Stepping Stone Baskets is a not for profit project, we do not get funding and as such we rely solely on donations.
What we don’t get in donations is funded out of our own pockets
We currently have drop zones for donations of goods in Kirwan, Rasmussen, Mount Low, Bushland Beach and West End.

Just tell them the donation is for Stepping Stone Baskets and they will ensure it gets to us.
You can contact us via our Contact tab and we can arrange a drop off or pick up time. We also have an account set up for those who are unable to get to our local Townsville drop off points, but would like to help. You can get our Direct Deposit details by sending us a quick message here.

Our Baskets are made up of only new household and personal hygiene items.
What Can Be Donated to go in the Baskets?
We will not turn away any new and unused hygiene products or household products providing they can fit in our baskets. We love and encourage donations of beauty products, sample products, gift vouchers for hair cuts and self care products as well as home comfort items such as oil burners and melts, however we aim to have the following key items in each of our baskets
- small cartons of laundry powder
- sanitary pads and tampons
- tealight candles
- dish washing liquid
- toilet paper
- toilet brushes
- dustpan & brush
- dish clothes
All items must be new and unused. Razors and sanitary items must be in original packaging for hygiene purposes. We do not take donations of clothing, furniture or food products. If you do have any items you would like to donate please contact us and we can organise pick up or give you a drop off address
